Parade of Lights - Fri/Nov. 30, '2001 - see 2002
was the biggest Liquid Therapy event!
Downtown Denver will come alive for the annual AT&T Parade of Lights. With an attendance of 350,000, this holiday extravaganza is the most popular holiday event in Denver. The parade winds its way through downtown, featuring 10 of the state's best high school marching bands, as well as a multitude of floats and giant balloons like "The Clock Tower," which rises 32 feet in the sky.
But liquid therapy won't be standing on the corner, bumped and jostled by heroin-addicted youth in the freezing cold winter darkness. Instead we have reserved a beautiful, spacious wrap-around third-floor suite with oversized picture windows at the Hotel Monaco, a swanky 1940s European hotel right on the parade route on the corner of 17th and Champa. This newer downtown hotel sits you right down in the lap of luxury. And you get your very own goldfish! The Atmosphere at the Monaco is like stepping into a scene from "Casablanca."
